The Smart-Slide sliding doors offer a new solution for the sliding door/window industry and are designed to become an attractive alternative to PSK doors (tilt-and-slide parallel sliding doors). They are an excellent solution for both residential homes and public buildings, where simple operation and reliability are expected from the sliding doors.
A well-thought-out combination of technical solutions ensures that the Smart-Slide option performs excellently in isolation tests, wind resistance, and waterproofing. All of these benefits are thanks to the perfectly fitting sash seals, which are pressed transversally by the sash along the entire perimeter, when the handle is rotated. OPERATIONAL COMFORT
The innovative locking mechanism allows for simple and intuitive operation, similar to the solutions used in HST sliding and lifting sliding doors. The locking mechanism ensures a smooth closure into the frame, providing easy operation of the sliding door.
The 70 mm width of the sash and 140 mm of the frame offer multiple usage options for the new smart-slide sliding doors, as well as renovation alternatives.
STABILITY AND THE POSSIBILITY TO CREATE LARGE STRUCTURES
Large glass surfaces are very trendy. The Smart-Slide sliding doors meet this challenge by allowing the creation of glazed structures with a total size of 1.5 x 2.3 m. The complete perimeter locking of the sash ensures secure closure while allowing smooth movement with minimal force. This is a significant advantage, especially compared to sliding systems that involve numerous opening/closing cycles and can be problematic to operate. Additionally, thanks to profiles built with Multifalz technology, the option to use glazing bonding technology is available, providing greater rigidity to the entire structure.
PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY
The new smart-slide doors are easy to manufacture, ensuring high production efficiency. This is mainly due to the small number of profiles used in production. Similar to sliding doors, the frame is welded, the system uses a resting component from the Ideal 4000 system, and the glazing is directly placed in the sash. The entire production can be carried out using standard machinery.
SPACE SAVING
The use of smart-slide sliding doors represents a step forward in optimal utilization of the room's interior space since the door’s opening does not require the moving of the mobile sash out of plane. The smart-slide door can be configured in both the A and C schemes.
